Billy White invited Jacob Zocherman to shoot photos at the Sormlands Trail Festival in Sweden on a stunning late-summer weekend in September 2024. I had seen Jacob’s famous photos from the famous race around Brushy Mountain Penitentary, Barkley Marathons.

I interviewed Jacob on stage at the festival in front of an interested crowd. His take on ultra running and war photography is as beautiful as it is challenging.
